Going through recruitment can be an overwhelming process but USI Panhellenic Council is here to support and advance your sorority experience. Here at USI, we use a values-based recruitment process. With a focus on philanthropic endeavors and the values of each chapter, our three-day recruitment process allows potential new members to explore our sorority community in a safe and welcoming environment.
The council is committed to building a community that celebrates sisterhood and cherishes lifelong connections!
Emily Papandria, VP of Recruitment and Extension
"Finding a sisterhood that truly reflects you and your values really builds you up as a person and helps you find such a supportive community! Signing up for recruitment is a process you'll lean so much from and meet so many people. It is an unforgettable experience and you should see for yourself!"
Panhellenic Chapters
We have 5 Panhellenic chapters on USI's campus. These chapters include Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta, and Sigma Sigma Sigma.
Each chapter holds their own values and rituals. Check out each of their individual pages on the USI Website to learn more about each organization.
NPHC/NALFO Chapters
We have three NPHC/NALFO chapters here at University Southern Indiana. These include Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Gamma Phi Omega.
NPHC/NALFO organizations do not use a recruitment process similar to the one used by the Interfraternity Council or the Panhellenic Council. NPHC/NALFO organizations have open recruitment periods that are deemed by the specific organization. Specific requirements vary by organization. Check out an organization's local or national website for specific intake requirements.
